Alain Hupé

Alain Hupé, has acquired more than 20 years of experience in mineral exploration for gold and base metals. He graduated as a Geological Engineer from Laval University, Quebec, Canada, in 1992.  His exploration expertise began as geologist for Noranda Exploration (Xstrata plc) at Mine Gaspe.  Subsequently, he assume Directorship of Geominex, a consultant company in mining exploration and co-founded Ressources Appalaches in 1994.  Ressources Appalaches focus has been since the onset to discover and develop deposits of base and precious metals of the Appalachian geological formation of Eastern Canada.  In 2010, Alain Hupé was appointed as President/CEO of Ressources Appalaches, as well as maintained his position as a Director of the Board. 


André Proulx is a graduate of Université Laval with a master’s degree in ethnology (1974). He has several years of experience in managing mining and oil exploration companies. Since 2002, he is a member of the board of directors, president, and chief executive officer of Pétrolia Inc. (PEA-TSX-V). Since 2003, he is a member of the board of directors of Puma Exploration Inc. (PUM-TSX-V) and was president and chief executive officer until 2010. Since 1994, he is a member of the board of directors of Ressources Appalaches inc. (APP-TSX-V) and was president and chief executive officer until 2010. From 1994 to 2000, he was president of Géominex Inc., a consulting firm in the sector of mineral exploration geology.

Dominique Doucet obtained his title of engineer-geologist from the École polytechnique of Montreal in 1982. Mr. Doucet is member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (Quebec’s order of engineers). Since 2001, he is the Vice-President and CEO of Dios Exploration Inc. He is the President of Ressources Sirios Inc. since 1994. From 1987 until 1994, he was President and Promoter of Ressources William Inc., a company listed on the Montreal Stock Exchange since 1990. From 1994 until May of 1995, he was the Executive Vice-President  and Secretary of Ressources William Inc., and the company's Director until 1996. Between 1982 and 1987, he was a consulting engineer in the sector of mineral exploration.

John Alan Thomas is a graduate of the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology where he received a B.Sc. (Hon) in Chemical Engineering, as well as a M.Sc. and Ph.D. He also received a Diploma in Accounting and Finance from the U.K. Association of Certified Accountants. He is a registered professional engineer in the province of British Columbia. Since 1997, Dr. Thomas is president of JAT Metconsult Ltd. He has 38 years experience in the mining industry, in both base and precious metals and has worked in Brazil, Venezuela, Costa Rica, Kazakhstan, Russia, Canada and Zambia. His experience covers a wide range of activities in the mining industry, from process development, management of feasibility studies, engineering and management of construction and operation of mines. 

Jose Oro, has acquired more than 35 years of global mining practical experience as well as advance technical expertise. Mr. Oro’s most recently held appointments were as Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Gran Colombia Gold Corp, Galway Resources’ Vice-President and Country Manager as well as Vice President of Kirkland Lake Gold. He also served as a Director of the Ministry of Basic Industries of Cuba. He was in charge of re-starting Kirkland Lake Gold's Macassa mine with a 1,500TPD mill. Mr. Oro has authored and published over 60 scientific research papers, five books and 10 bankable feasibility studies.

Ginette G. Brisson is an accountant and member of the Corporation professionnelle des comptables généraux accrédités du Québec and the Certified General Accountants Association of Canada. Ginette Brisson worked for more than 20 years with industry, commercial businesses, and government bodies as Audit Principal for Mallette, an accounting firm. Since 2005, she serves a number of oil and mineral exploration companies as a public accountant.
